Skills Development Scotland are holding a free webinar for parents and carers to find out more about Scottish Apprenticeships, on 4th March at 7pm.

The one hour Zoom session gives an overview of Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships and a learning provider, employer and apprentices will explain the support to take an apprenticeship.

Barclays recently hosted their "B in Tech" event at their Glasgow campus, welcoming around 50 pupils from Inverclyde schools, Clydeview Academy and Port Glasgow High School.

This fantastic event has been hosted previously for pupils within the West Region, with two more sessions planned in the coming weeks.

The event aimed to inspire students to consider Computer Science as a National 4 or 5 subject and to explore the exciting career opportunities available in the tech industry.

Pupils engaged in a range of interactive activities, and the day provided a fun and practical insight into the endless possibilities of a future in tech.

A big thank you to the brilliant team at Barclays for making this event such a success!
