DYW are holding a "Get Started" webinar on Thursday 6th February from 10am-12pm. 

This free training workshop is designed to support individuals who currently engage with or would like to engage with young people in schools and colleges, or in the workplace - through DYW.

West College Scotland is hosting a Senior Phase Information Evening at their Clydebank Campus on Wednesday 5th February, from 5:30–7:30 pm.

This session is tailored for pupils moving into S4, S5, or S6 in August 2025 who want to learn more about selecting one of WCS’s School Vocational Courses or Foundation Apprenticeships as part of their subject choices this year.

We are planning for Scottish Apprenticeship Week which takes place from 3rd-7th March!

We are looking for employers who would be interested in taking part in our social media campaign. This is a great opportunity for your organisation to showcase your apprenticeship pathways into your company/sector.

All you need to do is send us a picture of your apprentices and your logo, along with any apprenticeship opportunities you may have.

These will then be shared across our social media platforms throughout SAW week.

Skills Development Scotland are holding a free webinar for parents and carers to find out more about Scottish Apprenticeships, on 4th March at 7pm.

The one hour Zoom session gives an overview of Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships and a learning provider, employer and apprentices will explain the support to take an apprenticeship.

Barclays recently hosted their "B in Tech" event at their Glasgow campus, welcoming around 50 pupils from Inverclyde schools, Clydeview Academy and Port Glasgow High School.

This fantastic event has been hosted previously for pupils within the West Region, with two more sessions planned in the coming weeks.

The event aimed to inspire students to consider Computer Science as a National 4 or 5 subject and to explore the exciting career opportunities available in the tech industry.

Pupils engaged in a range of interactive activities, and the day provided a fun and practical insight into the endless possibilities of a future in tech.

A big thank you to the brilliant team at Barclays for making this event such a success!

JPMorgan Chase is hosting a Software Development Apprenticeship Insight Evening, designed for young people and school leavers who are curious about the world of tech and the exciting career paths it offers.
